This alarm has to do with you and making your dreams a reality. It is also something that all of us need to continually ask ourselves: am I making my vision (purpose) clear enough? If not, you may be wasting time, effort, purpose, and money–all precious commodities.
I have noticed in many different sectors that people, businesses, organizations are not keeping up with connecting up as they should in order to grow their dream into that reality. Well known authors and speakers do not have easily assessed websites or social media pages. In fact, some of them are lost outside of their immediate networks.
One would think that all businesses understand that if you don’t have a web presence you cannot connect with your customer base. And furthermore, if you don’t have things looking good on everyone’s smart phones, you are really losing out. Traditional marketing is no longer. Things are changing at warp speed–notice the word, changing; they are not static!
How present are you (without being completely obnoxious) on the internet or in social media platforms?
This morning I was reading in Luke 16, and Jesus asked, “who do they say I am?”(15) Of course, I do not mean to hijack Bible scriptures to support my post here, but the thought occurred to me after reading it, that others need to know the truth about who we are and what we are representing–not here-say or conjecture–but what we are really about and doing!
Is the message that you are sending out clear enough that people know who you are and what you are all about? If you are a writer, do people know that? What does your business do? What is it you sell? Who does your ministry benefit? Or, what do you want to be known for in the long run of life?
I hope this encourages you to look in from the outside and check your message and then, readjust again and again and again. Because, things are changing…
