One of the first things we do with an invention, discovery, a new baby, or a puppy is to give it a name (or a number). With 2025 comes a fresh start; a freshness I am ready to run with.
For my new business name, I chose an idiom. It has several meanings, with the central one being to look at something from every angle, to fully investigate, and to be open to finding innovative means to tackle a project or to learn at a deeper level the truth of a matter. I consider it referencing that there are many ways to get something done. I love the ring to it. It also can be defined as having such impact that it cannot be contained in a small way. The multiplicity is thrilling. So name it, I did! Six Ways to Sunday Media. I registered the name with the Oregon Corp Division to solidify my choice. Audacious Consulting & Media moves to the back burner for now, but Six Ways to Sunday Media has started sizzling on the big burner in front.
Media is vast and ever-changing swiftly, like a river at flood level. It touches about everything we see and do, because it influences perceptions, beliefs, and choices of every sort. It has the power to shape our world. Whether books, social media, entertainment, AI, arts, or even the negative and horrific underbelly of it all: media matters!
